Holy matrimony is an incredibly beautiful sacrament, but one that requires extensive premarital preparation to fully understand the commitment you are truly making in a Christian marriage. At St. Francis Xavier, we want to walk with couples as they prepare not only for a beautiful wedding, but for a holy and lasting marriage rooted in Christ.

We would love to be your wedding venue, but we ask that you fill out our form to receive information and meet with our Wedding Coordinator, Lori Wieder, well in advance of your planned wedding date. She will walk you through the logistics and preparations necessary for celebrating your wedding at St. Francis Xavier, including confirming your facilities needs and collecting any fees associated with your wedding. Meet with the Priest and Begin Marriage Preparation
Call the church office to speak with a priest about marriage preparation meetings. Once you contact a priest, he will meet with you to begin your marriage preparation program.
*Even if you wish to use a priest not affiliated with St. Francis Xavier for your wedding, you must contact one of our priests for approval.
Contact the Music Director
Contact the parish Music Director, Matt Cabeen, to assist you in planning the music for your wedding. He will go over the many options for your wedding music and the associated fees.
*Even if you wish to use an outside musician to play/sing for your wedding, you must contact our Music Director for approval.
Begin Looking at Dates for an Engaged Encounter Retreat
We encourage couples to attend an Engaged Encounter Retreat through the Diocese of Tulsa. The retreat gives engaged couples intentional time away from the busyness of wedding planning to focus on their relationship, their faith, and the commitment they are preparing to make before God. Engaged Encounter is not meant to be a test or a hurdle. It is meant to be a gift: a chance for couples to strengthen their foundation, ask meaningful questions, and enter marriage with greater understanding, openness, and confidence.
If you desire to have a marriage annulled, St. Francis Xavier is here to help. Through our pastor, deacons, and staff, we have the resources to assist you with the process. To learn more about the annulment process, we suggest the websites from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, Beginning Catholic, and the Diocese of Tulsa Tribunal Office.
