Our Mission
The primary mission of St. Francis Xavier Youth Ministry is to present the Gospel to the youth, invite them into a personal relationship with Christ, and pose the challenge of discipleship in Jesus Christ. We aim to integrate the youth into the parish community and, more broadly, into the Body of Christ. As our teens grow up in the midst of a turbulent and ever-changing world, we hope to ground them in the way of Christian living and provide them with positive role models. We recognize the unmatched graces received in the Sacraments and aim to make them easily accessible to the youth throughout the year. As Pope Saint John Paul II said, “Life with Christ is a wonderful adventure,” and our energizing, engaging youth programs are simply proof of this reality.
Middle School Youth Ministry
In our effort to work towards Restored Order of the Sacraments, 7th, 8th, and 9th graders will be confirmed this upcoming school year (2025-26). Confirmation classes will be from 9:45 am - 11 am between Sunday morning Masses. Register for confirmation class and other religious education by clicking here.
Our 6th - 8th grade students will meet monthly in the Youth Center for fellowship and various games and activities.
High School Youth Ministry
Our 9th - 12th grade students meet weekly on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 pm for fun, faith, and fellowship. Students will learn to live out their faith more within the parish as well as out in the community.
