Holdings are arranged alphabetically on the bookshelves in each category by title from left to right. A spreadsheet showing these holdings follows this introduction, and a printed copy of this spreadsheet is available in the library. It will be updated every 3 months. A holding may be self-checked out only by an adult registered parishioner of St. Francis Xavier in Stillwater, using a checkout card in a pouch attached to each holding, by filling in the author, title, due date of return, and the name of the person checking out the item, along with a phone number where that person may be contacted. Using the honor system, the due date for return of this holding is no more than five weeks from when the item is checked out. After the checkout slip is completed, it is to be filed, alphabetically by title, in the small container on the small, white, shelved table, behind the appropriate alphabet divider in the container. When the item is returned, please do not re/shelve it; instead, place it in the returned book basket in this table. Please do not check out more than three items at a time, and no additional checkouts until after checked-out items have been returned, so that no more than three items are checked out at any time. Additionally, while browsing is encouraged, please do not re-shelve any item taken from a shelf. By adhering to this request, we hope to minimize shelving errors, which make it challenging to find an item for browsing or check-out.

Finally, please know that the library is not a playroom. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times, and food and drink for such children are not allowed in the library. We hope you and your family will enjoy this resource and grow closer to God through it.
